Writer researches Ergolding airfield

I am from Landshut in Germany and I am researching the history of the airfield Ergolding near Landshut. It was captured by the 99th Division between April 29-30, 1945. Do you know which part of the 99th was the first on the airfield and which unit stayed in Ergolding?

Two German planes were shot down on May 1 and 2, 1945, by U.S. troops in the area around Landshut. Do you know whether it was a unit that was part of the 99th?

I also would be interested in photos from the airfield, from the crash sites of the planes, and from prisoners of the German Air Force which were captured in the area.
