Win $100 at San Antonio years ago
The Checkerboard Chorus is announcing plans for a comedy segment in the annual concert at next year's convention.
Send a $10 entry fee and your favorite joke to Stewart Boone, 806 Center Street, Garden City KS 67846. You will receive a Checkerboard Chorus CDs for your entry.
The joke must be family-oriented (PG-13), a little shady but not raunchy. A committee will select the 10 best jokes. If you are in the audience at San Antonio, you will be given the opportunity to tell your joke. All others will be read by a committee member.
The best joke, voted by those attending the concert, will receive $100 in prize money.
A similar contest with a $5 entry fee and a $50 prize will be held for children under 12 years of age.
Send entries anytime. There is no limit to the number of times you can enter, however, each entry must be accompanied by the required entry fee.
