Wilmer and Ruby enjoyed Ardennes

Wilmer and Ruby Barts participated in numerous Battlefield Tours to the Ardennes.

On the last tour, in May, Wilmer got ill in Germany and had to visit a hospital for his heart problem.

After only one day, he and Ruby rejoined the tour.

Wilmer suffered a stroke July 25. Even though he was rushed to the hospital and they administered medication, he did not fully respond. He died July 26.

A military service with full honors was held, with the casket flag presented to Ruby.
