Will there be a USS Ardennes?
Enclosed please find my annual dues for 2005. As opposed to annual dues, is there a lifetime membership rate?
In my letter of June 25 I mentioned contacting my congressional delegation about commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, and urging the naming of a ship USS Ardennes. My idea was supported by my congressman and one of my senators, and the suggestion was forwarded to the Navy. What happens next remains to be seen, but again, I urge any members with an interest in this proposal to contact their own members of Congress.
