Widow seeks squad members

My husband, John C. Overman Jr., died Jan. 20, 1999. He was with the 99th from its beginning at Camp Van Dorn MS. He was a staff sergeant, wounded Jan. 28, 1945, near Hofen, Germany. His wounds were serious and he never got to go back with his unit, I/395. I've often wondered what happened to his squad. I remember some of the names — Leon Rogers, Paul Putty, Piersall. A lot of his squad came from the ASTP. I remember him saying how smart they were. I enjoy reading the paper.
