Who replaced Captain Roth?
I am seeking the name of a lieutenant who replaced Captain Raymond V. Kohn as liaison officer for the forward observation teams of the 370th FA Bn., 99th Infantry Division. Capt. Antonio M. Kehayas was CO of Headquarters Battery of the 370th at the time and Lt. Col. John R. Brindley was battalion commander.
Capt. Kohn was with Headquarters Battery of the 370th from Camp Van Dorn MS, till the beginning of the Battle of the Bulge around Dec. 15, 1944, when he was transferred and a lieutenant (a Pennsylvania native?) replaced him.
I have information stating Captain Kohn assumed command of Battery A of the 370th on Feb. 26, 1945, so I know he was still within the 370th. Who was the lieutenant who took his place in Headquarters Battery in mid-December 1944?
