Website will honor father
My father, Michael Charles Gavula, died in 1977. He was a WWII veteran with the 99th Infantry Division in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a medic. I would like to make a website honoring him and I have many photos he took, with captions.
We have some German film, I'm not sure what it is. My father brought home some things from the war. I remember "swimming" in a German life raft as a child (it was yellow) and have pictures of it. We tried to make the film into video but it is not compatible. Locally, they tell us we have to send it away, but we are afraid to lose it.
