War Room has run out of space
Every year we receive various items at the conventions to be added to the War Room. Although we certainly appreciate getting more things, we have a very real problem - space. We have very limited storage space for the War Room and just cannot accommodate more requests for items to display.
In the past Dick Byers used some great items from his personal collection. They were a great addition to the War Room. We still have some very fine items for display. Unfortunately we cannot expand the War Room because of a lack of storage space.
If members wish to preserve something from our experiences in the war, I suggest that items should be sent to Archives Chairman Harry McCracken, who can store them at the Soldiers & Sailors' Memorial in Pittsburgh PA, and be available for display there.
