Vets meet for lunch
Every two months a group of World War II veterans meet for lunch. There are more than 100 of us from all branches of the service.
In fact, two 99th engineers come up to Morehead City NC from Wilmington NC. The luncheon group is called ROMEOS — Retired Old Men Eating Out. I don't know if there are others in various cities.
I was sorry to read that Bill Meyer died.
