Tour postponed due to terrorism
The event hosted by Battlefield Tours, visiting 99th Infantry Division combat territory in the Belgian Ardennes, was postponed.
Originally planned for late September and early October, the tour was postpone due to the terrorist attacks on America.
It will be held May 16-27. The tour will include dedication of the 1st Bn/394th plaque at Losheimergraben crossroads. It also has been delayed until May.
The tour also will coincide with the Belgian observance of Memorial Day at the American Cemetery near Henri Chapelle. American veterans will be specially recognized guests.
The original tour group will go in May, except for Bill McMurdie (see Taps). There also is room for six others. Call Battlefield Tours at 1-800-556-1460 for information and booking.
