Students want to correspond with veterans
I help coordinate the social studies programs for our school district. One of our teachers is teaching a course on the military history of the United States. He would like to have his students correspond online with veterans of World War II.
If any members would be interested in corresponding they may e-mail me at lduncan@greenville.k12.sc.us or echoes92@aol.com.
A veteran of the 99th was the guest speaker at an annual Veterans Day program we had a few years ago. I know our students would benefit from corresponding with any of the Battle Babies.
