Share information about Bronze Star

My father, David Robert Urie, was in the 99th during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and at the bridge at Remagen as a machine gunner. He also was a recipient of the Bronze Star for his efforts.

My father died in 1981. His photo at the end of the war showed him with the 94th insignia (evidently he was transferred sometime after VE-Day). I just re-discovered upon my mother's death (via his letters back home) that he was indeed in the 99th.

I am looking for information regarding the circumstances for his receiving the Bronze Star and any other possible information that the association may have on his wartime activities.
