Robert S. Bruce
My grandfather served with the 99th Infantry Division during World War II. He was actually wounded with the 83rd Division and was then sent to the D/395. He was a staff sergeant and we believe finished the rest of the war with that same regiment. His name was Robert S. Bruce but he went by the name of Rob. He was from Grafton, OH.
I would like to be able to talk to anyone who knew him, as I never had a chance to meet him as he died before I was old enough to talk to him. My family and I would like to know about his service in the army.
