Research update
Research update Five months ago I began a study of the 99th Division. I want to write something about the challenges and hardships ordinary soldiers faced. I have communicated with more than 100 veterans. I attended the annual convention and just returned from the Bulge battlefield, (guided by Jean-Louis Seel), the Remembrance Museum in Clermont, Remagen, the Danube, and Moosburg. I would like to talk to more veterans — officers, non-coms, riflemen, medics, quartermaster and signal corps men.
