Registration hours change
The registration area will be open from 10 a.m. (or immediately following the Memorial Service) to 5 p.m. Friday, July 19. The times listed in the schedule were incorrect.
The Stanwix Street exit, downtown Pittsburgh PA, will be closed during the convention, according to chairman Harry McCracken. Those coming from the east should follow these directions:
Pennsylvania Turnpike I-76 west to Exit 6 Monroeville, Pittsburgh onto Parkway 376 West. Exit Boulevard of the Allies before coming to the original Stanwix Street Exit. Stay on Boulevard of the Allies until coming to Commonwealth Place. The Hilton is on the right. Turn right onto Fort Duquesne Blvd. to get to the main entrance. The Boulevard of the Allies exit is the third exit after coming out the Squirrel Hill Tunnel. The exit is well-marked.
