Re-enactment group portrays E/393 years ago

I am the event coordinator of the 99th Infantry Division, 393rd Regiment, Easy Company (re-enactment group) in Erie PA. Our group of 20 members was formed in June 1999.

As re-enactors we portray the common foot soldier in World War II. Our unit is active throughout the year, helping local veterans, marching in parades, setting up living histories and combat re-enactments at military bases.

Our intent is to keep the memories and deeds of our "citizen soldiers" alive. Our squad is grateful to the 99th Infantry Division Association and to veterans of this organization. Many of us are associate members and buy every book we can on the 99th.

Our local veterans, some of whom were in the 99th, are helping make our impressions more realistic by sharing stories and photos with us. We are always happy to learn more. Our website is http://99theasyco.tripod.com/.
