Our Days of Shadow now available at bookstores
Harry "Top" Peterson Jr., L/394, recently released a new book, "Our Days of Shadow," that relates the experience of combat, capture, and life as a prisoner of war.
He wrote the book immediately after his discharge from the Army in November 1945. He submitted it to one publisher in Chicago but the subject matter was not in their line. Peterson put the book on the back burner to pursue a career. This past year, he corrected and edited the manuscript and got the book published.
