New member wears 99th patch proudly years ago
My name is S/Sgt. Kraig Morris. I currently serve in the 99th in a quartermaster unit. The 99th still exists but it's much larger than a division. Basically, it's the major Army Reserve unit in the northeast U.S. for command and control. It has many divisions and smaller units under its control.
Those soldiers who are under the 99th and who do not have their own unit patch, wear the 99th patch, as I do. I have been with the 99th for almost three years. I am so proud to wear the 99th patch as I know a little about the awesome soldiers who came before me.
The 99th Headquarters is eventually moving to Fort Dix NJ, from Corapolis PA, near Pittsburgh.
