New member, artillery
I served as a medic in Division Artillery for about six months at Van Dorn before transferring. I have lost touch with the 99th and have wondered what happened to it. At the dedication of the WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C., I made contact with Harry McCracken who had a copy of the Checkerboard sent to me. I would appreciate joining the 99th Infantry Division Association.
Sorry to miss the reunion in Biloxi.
