Mother's box is found

Bill Hayes, A/370, sent a clipping from The Oil City (PA) Derrick about a veteran of the 9th Inf. Div. who finally has heard about a package from his mother, which she had sent to him overseas in 1944. The package had been "discovered" by Jean-Louis Seel (one of the Diggers). The seven inch by seven inch metal box will be placed on display in a museum in Belgium, with former Sgt. Vernon Cratty's full permission. Seel was identified in the story as a member of the 99th Infantry Division On-Site Search Team.
