Missing
Missing: Walt Disney "Gil" of an "Octopus," It's eight parts holding weapons of war. This "Gil" was documented to me by Mr. Walter Disney.
I received the package right after coming back from leave and was on my way to my duty post. I just got a short look at everything in the package. I showed it to my sergeant.
When I got back, I was told by the sergeant that he showed the "Gil" to the officers thand that was the last time I saw it.
A few days later I was sent to the hospital for a long stay. In the meantime the division detached from service. I lost all contact and was discharged from the Army six months later with no records on me. I was discharged Feb. 21, 1946.
