Maps show soldier's progress

My father, Keith O. Wilson, had a map 60 years ago from the Ariendorf Hotel in Linz, Germany. He kept track of where he was by marking up the pages of the atlas. He also marked where he had been during the battle of the Ardennes.

There also are two pages of names and addresses that I believe were his friends while overseas. (See photos above.)

My dad died in 1997, and never talked much about the war except to say how awful it was. Although he was very proud of his combat infantryman's badge, he never said anything about his unit or other details of his time in the army.

I would be thrilled to hear from anyone who knew him. He was from St. Paul MN.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Chris Wilson sent a CD with pages from his dad's map. We were not able to duplicate the maps in the Checkerboard, but the CD has been sent to Harry McCracken, Archives chairman.
