M and Ms to attend San Antonio convention
Marcel and Mathilde Schmetz have agreed to attend the convention in San Antonio this summer.
The 99th board of directors approved a proposal for the association to pay for part of the Schmetz' travel expenses to the convention. However, that stipend will not cover everything.
A fund has been established to help with expenses for their visit to San Antonio.

The Belgian couple has welcomed 99'ers in their home and spent time taking them places in Belgium where the 99th Division was located in November-December 1944.
They have the "Remember Museum 1939-45" honoring all veterans who were involved in their liberation from the Germans.
