Lombardo featured

in metro-newspaper

A nearly full-page article in the Carlisle, Pa., Sentinel featured Sam and Jean Lombardo and the book he recently published.

The newspaper tells the story of how an immigrant boy became successful in America.

"In spite of his telltale accent and Italian roots, Samuel Lombardo is as American as apple pie," the newspaper relates.

The story, illustrated with color photos, is a great promotional effort for Lombardo's book, "O'er The Land of the Free."

The book is one that will be popular among 99th members, for Sam was a platoon leader in I/394th Infantry.

To order the book, direct, send $14 by personal check or money order to: Lombardo Books, 8 Alliance Dr., Apt. 205, Carlisle PA 17013. Two books cost $27 and three are $39. Price includes cost of mailing.
