Keep the association alive
Please renew my associate membership. I read with dismay in the last issue of the Checkerboard, discussions about eventually dissolving the association.
I grew up reading the Checkerboard and hearing about the 99th from my dad, Don Reed who served in Service Company, 393rd. He was a member of the association until his death in 1988.
Time marches on, I guess; but I sincerely hope the 99th Infantry Division Association can continue to exist for many years to come.
