K/393 well represented
K/393 is always well represented a annual conventions, often winning the attendance prize. The company is also well represented on the Checkerboard mailing list. There are 53 names of K/393 members on the mailing list. For some reason, 21 other K/393 veterans do not receive the 99th Division newspaper. There are funds available to send the Checkerboard to veterans who may not be able to pay, if those addresses are made available to the membership manager. Postal regulations require that each person on the "non-profit publication" mailing list either pay or request that the newspaper be received.
