Information wanted about I&R Platoon
I have been interested in the story of the Battle of the Bulge and Kampfgruppe Peiper for many years. I visited Lanzerath a few times and I am disappointed about the monument for the heroic stand of those December 1944 days. I feel the men of the I&R Platoon deserve a better monument for their historical action.
I would like to have the story of the I&R Platoon. Is there someone who can give me this information? I have sent a letter to Lyle Bouck but have not heard from him. I am wanting to write a manuscript about Peiper and the Ardennes and would welcome information from U.S. veterans about their actions.
