Infantry Soldier in third printing

George Neill, author of "Infantry Soldier," reports his book is now in its third printing and sales have reached more than 7,000 copies.

First published in 2000 by the University of Oklahoma Press, it has received wide acclaim from members of the 99th Infantry Division, numerous other military outfits, and wives and families of infantrymen, Neill said.

Ninety-nine percent of the press reviews were positive, according to Neill. He added he knows of two universities that are using "Infantry Soldiers" as required reading in their history classes on World War II.

Neill said the book is available from the University of Oklahoma Press (800-627-7377) in both hardback and paperback editions. It also can be purchased online from Amazon.com and other bookstores.
