Hobert Hoover
I am searching for information about my grandfather, S/Sgt. Hobert Hoover. He went by "Hobe" and was from Tennessee.
He joined the 99th as a replacement in mid-January 1945, while they were still in the Ardennes. He was in E/394.
He died before I was born and he never told my dad much of anything about the war.
Any information anyone could give me about him would be helpful. I am hoping to find someone who knew him.
