H. Jay Antis, E/395 I am beginning some research on my father's experiences in WWII and have learned from his service records that he was in Company E, 395th Infantry. He arrived in Europe in August and was shipped home on a hospital ship in January 1945, and was honorably discharged in April 1945 from Camp Lockett near San Diego CA. Unfortunately, my father died of a heart attack at age 65 in 1983, and I would like to learn more about that portion of his life, and share it with his grandchildren, who are now grown. He never would talk much about it, but had begun to share the stories later in his life.
