My daughter recently became interested in finding out about her grandfather's military experiences during World War II. I couldn't tell her very much about it because it was too upsetting for him to speak about, so I didn't ask many questions. He died in March 1990. I do know he was in the 99th, 324th Engineer Bn. I am looking for anyone who remembers him or can give us any information.
