Father would have been proud of 99th association years ago
In researching my father's service in the Army during WWII I have discovered he was a military policeman and served in the 395th Regiment, 99th Infantry Division. His name was Cpl. James F. Ingram.
He told me, and I have corroborated, that his MP unit disbanded overseas and he then became an infantryman.
My father died in 1984, and talked very little about his military service. I know he would be proud to know that there is a 99th Infantry Division Association.
