Diggers' fund is dry
A few years ago the association board of directors voted to allow a $2,500 stipend for travel expenses for the Diggers to come from Belgium for the annual conventions. Generous donations from members help offset the cost of their airline tickets and expenses while in the States.
With the high cost of air travel, the Diggers' Fund has been depleted and it is necessary to again ask for donations to help with the boys' travel expenses.
