Daughter seeks facts about medal

I would like to ask that anyone who knew or fought with my father, Sgt. John C. Pump, K/395, contact me regarding my dad's Bronze Star award.

I would like to find out what he did in combat to earn this medal. I know he fought in Hofen, Germany. If anyone has memories to share, please contact me. Thank you to all you brave men who fought so valiantly to preserve the freedom we now enjoy.
