Couple wants convention closer to home
To the Editor:
We would like to see the convention held in Rapid City. Washington D.C., and Tampa are very far for us to go.
In 2007 and 2008 we will be 86-87 and 80-81. Since we are on a very limited income, travel other than driving is out of the question.
We attended the convention in San Antonio, because we wanted to see the River Walk and the Alamo.
Even with the special 99th rates it was very expensive for us. Our income is less than $2,000 a month.
Second choice would be Tampa. We have several relatives there and could spend time with them.
