Conference room named for Bill Bray

A magnificent conference room at the office of Missouri Press Association, in Columbia MO, has been named in honor of 99er Bill Bray of L/394.

Bray is well known as the highly acclaimed executive director of the MPA for years before his retirement. He earned a Silver Star and Purple Heart in the 99th, and has recently participated in Battlefield Tours to Europe.

Bray has been recovering from cancer, which caused him to lose about 65 percent of his liver. But, he says he's doing much better. His wife, Joan, however, recently lost the sight of one eye.

Both look forward to full recovery and further trips to 99th conventions and tours. Their address: Bill & Joan Bray, 2257 Country Lane, Columbia MO 65201.
