Collector searches for artifacts
I am a career firefighter in Maryland. On my days off, I collect uniforms, hats, medals, patches, knives, paperwork, and other items associated with World War II and Korea.
I have been collecting since the age of 13. I am now 27. I prefer to obtain these items from the veterans themselves, or their families. By doing this, I can get stories or important information about the veterans.
I feel I'm keeping the history and memories of the veterans around as long as possible.
I would like your readers to know I would be interested in hearing from them if they have things they would like to pass on.
