Clarence Jones, C/395 My father recently lot my mother and has far too much time on his hands. I have been trying to find ways to keep his spirits up. I have been hearing stories of his experiences in the war all my life and decided to look for a 99th Division website. Although he was a replacement late in the war he has fond memories of the time he spent in the division. His name is Clarence Jones and he was a member of a machine gun squad assigned to C/395 from March 1945 to the end of the war. One of the names he remembers was his squad leader, Sgt.
