"A Tour of the Bulge Battlefields," by William C.C. Cavanagh is now available from Casemate Publishing.
In a manner similar to "A Tour of the Arnhem Battlefields," this new volume covers in detail the scene of one of the greatest battles of World War II. Maps and then-and-now photographs illustrate the battle itself and offer a detailed guide to touring the area as it is today.
The book is organized in a series of itineraries, giving detailed information on the pivotal areas of the overall battle (Bastogne, St. Vith, etc.). This book works equally well for the battlefield visitor and those who cannot make the trip but wish to gain a more detailed appreciation of the terrain on which this massive German counter-attack was fought.
