I want to express my condolences concerning Dick Byers. A great person who has kept the history of the 99th vivid has departed. The younger generation like mine could count on him to get information about the 99th's history.
I also want to wish all the best for the editor, Bill Meyer. I hope he will recover soon.
After reading The Checkerboard I found that you did it very well. I understand it wasn't easy to take over all the editing. I enjoyed reading the periodical.
Can you also let me know where the website of the 99th moved to? I do not find it anymore.
