An article in the Stavelot, Belgium, newspaper tells about a neo-Nazi organization that disrupted the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge ceremony Dec. 16, 2004, at Stavelot.

Christian de Marcken, an associate of the 99th, sent the article to the Checkerboard and translated it from French to English.

The newspaper article tells how a group in Nazi uniforms disrupted the 60th anniversary ceremony at Stavelot.

Belgian police challenged the Germans as they prepared to make a speech. They took them to the police station, the Nazi uniforms were confiscated, as well as pro-Nazi literature was destroyed.

De Marcken will be the speaker at the banquet during the 56th annual 99th convention in San Antonio.
