Battle Babies in the 85th? years ago
My dad fought with the 85th in Italy. I have been looking for his records for some time. They may have burned in the 1970s. Mom sent me a photo of him at training camp. In the photo he is wearing a Checkerboard, not the CD. Do you know of men trained by the 99th then moved to the 85th?
