Battalion number?
My dad was in the 99th Infantry Division, 393rd Infantry Regiment, Fox Company. I don't know his battalion number. Are there sources available that might give that information?
He was Pfc. Steve Womble. He joined the division in fall 1944, and was with the group until the end of the war.
