99th RSC is active years ago
Bill Barker of B/324 Engineers, Warrenville IL, sends a clipping from the Chicago newspaper The Daily Herald reporting the downing and casualties in Iraq.
The photo accompanying the article shows a burial service showing the 99th Regional Support Command Honor Guard.
He says, "We can be proud of the folks carrying on the traditions of the 99th Infantry Division of World War II."
