Robert E. Humphrey’s book, “Once Upon a Time in War,” is now available. Veterans of the 99th Infantry Division have been eagerly awaiting the book’s publication.

Humphrey presented a program in August at the 59th annual convention. He told of his experiences interviewing and writing the book as well as some of the issues he encountered during the publication process.

Humphrey then read excerpts of the book to the standing-room-only crowd and answered questions.
